ViiA Residences is a completed, low-density 40-storey tower in KL Eco City, linked by bridge to Mid Valley Megamall and The Gardens Mall. Resale homes start from about RM 850,000, and with only 326 units in the tower, the choice at any one time is small. What I would look at: the title is leasehold, so check the years left and compare with freehold options nearby. Prices run from about RM 850,000 for a 1-room home to RM 1.8 million for the larger 2-room layouts, and the same size can differ by several hundred thousand ringgit. Availability changes often, so tell me the size you want and I will check what is open.
Best suited for: Buyers who want a smaller, low-density tower with a covered link to Mid Valley and The Gardens.
What to compare: Bangsar Hill Park resales (from about RM 770,000) and DC Residensi (freehold, from about RM 1.0 million).

What does it cost to buy a resale home, beyond the price?
Beyond the price you pay stamp duty on the transfer, your lawyer's fees for the sale and purchase agreement and, if you borrow, loan agreement stamp duty and loan legal fees. Why do asking prices vary so much for the same size?
